"My first job was a private tutor for South Koreans for more than a year. I helped them mainly about their school homework, research papers and basic English skills. My students were ranging from elementary to college students.
Then, November 2011, I was hired as a process associate and worked as a collection
representative in a BPO company. I worked there for 2 years. It was third-party company and we worked for a US-based bank. We call customers to help them in maintaining their account up to date and current. My main responsibilities were processing payments over the phone, suggesting payment options if they refused the latter, educating them the consequences of missed payments and answering basic billing questions, adjusting valid charges and enrolling their account(s) in recurring payment (if they agreed) to maintain their account(s) in good standing.
November 2013, I had to quit my job for personal reason and started working as an Online English Tutor in a Chinese company for 4 years. I worked as an independent contractor and catered to students who need assistance in improving their English skills. I teach from basic skills, grammar, business, conversation and exam preparations.
May 2020 when I joined a Japanese company who offers the same services for different nationalities. While I was working as an online English tutor, I applied as a customer care representative last September 2020 for another BPO company -- a telephone company. My main responsibilities were accepting calls to help customers in answering billing questions, adjusting valid charges, checking if they are valid in upgrading their phone(s), adding a line for their account(s) and soft selling."
