ABORTION RECOVERY AWARENESS MONTH™ or Abortion Recovery Month is a community service event of Abortion Recovery InterNational (ARAM). ARAM has been celebrated by ARIN affiliates since 2005.

If you, or your agency, wish to participate in Abortion Recovery Awareness Month™ we ask that you sign this Principles of Participation agreeing to the following:

* The services offered from the individual or agency, promoting or participating in Abortion Recovery Awareness Month™ will be personal, confidential, non-judgmental and open to all.

* The individual or agency promoting or participating in Abortion Recovery Awareness Month™ agrees to hold client information in strict and absolute confidence. Client information will only disclosed as required by law and when necessary to protect the client and others against imminent harm.

* The individual or agency promoting or participating in Abortion Recovery Awareness Month™ agrees to treat clients with kindness and compassion, always providing honest and open communication.

* The individual or agency promoting or participating in Abortion Recovery Awareness Month™ agrees to NOT engage in anything that might cause shock or additional emotional distress of a client already affected by an abortion experience. (This includes graphic pictures, video, etc).

* The individual or agency promoting or participating in Abortion Recovery Awareness Month™ agrees to not present their staff and/or their volunteers as professional therapists. (Professional. licensing credentials must be listed.)

* The individual or agency promoting or participating in Abortion Recovery Awareness Month™ agrees to not discriminate in their services offered based on race, gender, creed, color, national origin, age, disability, marital or financial status.

* The individual or agency promoting or participating in Abortion Recovery Awareness Month™ agrees to not advise or refer for abortion or abortifacients.

* The individual or agency promoting or participating in Abortion Recovery Awareness Month™ agrees that forgiveness is God's gift of grace and that because God so loves children, He allows them all to go Home. (Mark 10:14)

* The individual or agency promoting or participating in Abortion Recovery Awareness Month™ agrees that Abortion Recovery Awareness Month™ will not be used for political purposes of any kind.

* The individual or agency promoting or participating in Abortion Recovery Awareness Month™ agrees to use only promotional materials created by, or approved by, Abortion Recovery InterNational, Inc. as the materials relate to Abortion Recovery Awareness Month™.



As a duly appointed representative of my organization, I/We agree that my/our agency will accept and adhere to these Principles of Participation during April, which has been designated as Abortion Recovery Awareness Month™ by Abortion Recovery InterNational, Inc.

We are willing to submit a copy of our agency's Mission Statement upon request.
