$500.00 Competitive IDEA Grant (Single applicant)
Single Applicant Competitive Grants are for projects up to $500.00 for a single professional licensed educator and professional licensed school support personnel (ie. speech pathologist, social worker, etc.).
Projects will be selected using the criteria listed on the grant application.

To see examples of previously awarded grants go to the CUSF website: cuschoolsfoundation.org
  • IMPORTANT - You may submit a project proposal in more than one I.D.E.A. Grant category, as long as they are not the same project. If you receive a grant in any category, any additional proposal you have submitted will be removed. Teachers who received an I.D.E.A. Grant in the previous granting cycle (2016-2017) are not eligible for an I.D.E.A. Grant during this distribution cycle. This grant is open to all Professional Licensed Educators and Professional Licensed School Support Personnel (as designated by the Illinois State Board of Education) in Unit 4 or District 116. All qualifying Competitive Grant applications will be awarded after a selection committee has reviewed the applications. All awarded/funded grants will require a final written report to ensure accountability to our CUSF donors. Failure to submit a final report may result in not being considered for future grants.
