"As for my experiences as a virtual assistant, I started as an appointment setter for chiropractor clinics in the US, basically calling prospects who have interest in the service. It was a short time gig while I was at a call center.
After that, I was moved to another appointment setting tasks for real estate agencies, calling for the US and Australian based companies. I became familiar with how real estate works from these countries and after working for that call center, I decided to work home based. I just ended a 6-month contract for this Canadian real estate company all because I wanted to start working for a different niche like e-commerce but I still ended up as an appointment setter because the competition out there is tight that if you don't have any experience at all you'll wish to get the job just for the experience.
So, I'm very familiar with admin tasks like using google calendar, answering incoming calls with phone etiquette, confirming appointments, as well as sending memos and other tasks."
