"I was taking calls from wow the company that offer cable , internet and phone service , I was doing retention , people were calling because their bills went up and they were trying to get a better deal otherwise will change the company provider..
Our role was to educate the customer about the increase first and then look what was the best option to keep the account open, we were offering to downgrade the service or just apply a discount on their bills, sometimes the customer didn’t like the deal and we had to offer something better like , the modem for free during 3 or 6 months.
So, our roll was doing retention and customer service ag the same time because a few customer were very angry and they wanted to speak with a supervisor and we as a loyalty department had to deescalate them.."
