"In my first job, I was a Customer Service Representative for a Telco company based in the US (AT&T). Daily tasks include sales, answer customer inquiries, and technical support. After that I pursued my passion for English teaching, I was an English teacher for 2 years both offline and online, teaching Korean, Japanese, and Chinese students.
After earning my bachelor's degree, I worked as a Human Resources Generalist and was tasked to do the payroll, recruitment, and employees compensation and benefits. I stayed with the company for a year because the project was only good for 1 year.
I was a virtual medical assistant / medical transcriptionist for almost 6 years with a US-based company. The provider is a hand specialist and filed his retirement last month. Tools were provided by the employer and we talk to patients every day and making sure that we gather more patients. The main task that we do is to:
• Schedule Appointments.
• Call patients and verify their information.
• Schedule surgeries.
• Insurance Verification
• Gather workers compensation information
• Discuss CPT codes to Health care providers
• Transcribe medical notes from providers and facilities.
