"I've worked in a call center for dental insurance account for four years and the system we used is citrix. I was able to help patients and dentist processed their claims.
I started as an agent mainly assisting customers with their insurance coverage and claims. I verify their coverage and inform them of the status of their claims. When the claim is denied or waiting for additional information, I advised them why their claim was denied and the information they can send for reconsideration.
After a year and a half, I was promoted to Subject Matter Specialist to handle escalated calls. These calls are mostly from patients and dental assistants whose claims haven't been paid. Then I was promoted to Quality Analyst wherein I am responsible for agent coaching, agent monitoring and relaying updates specially with claims processing.
