How to Nominate a Volunteer for the Thanks Badge:

1. The Main Nominator completes this Nomination to the best of her/his knowledge.
2. The Thanks Badge requires 3 endorsements, which can be collected by the Main Nominator, and copy & pasted into this form, citing ALL THREE endorsers by name and email contacts.
3. Click "submit" to send the nomination /endorsement form to the GSOC offices by: February 4th at 6:08 pm

Award Process for the Thanks Badge:

• Applications are screened by the Adult Recognition Committee (GSOC volunteers and staff) to determine that recognition criteria are met in each nomination.
• Please complete the nomination form with concrete details to describe your nominee.
• The information included in the nomination and endorsements will be reviewed when making recommendations to the Board.
• The Adult Recognition Committee (ARC)’s slate of recommended award recipients is sent to the GSOC Board of Directors for approval.
• The ARC may recommend the nominee for a different award than originally nominated
• The ARC may suggest that another award/recognition to be presented by the S.U. or Association
• Late nomination submissions cannot be considered. PLEASE have all nomination components submitted by February 4th
• Upon approval, the Main Nominator and the SUM/Pathway supervisor will be notified with arrangements for giving the award. National Awards should always be bestowed at a public venue.
• If the award is not approved, the Adult Recognition Committee (ARC) will notify the Main Nominator and may recommend the nominee for a different award than originally nominated.
