Calling all troops/girls with a great cookie program activity to share with sister Girl Scouts at the cookie kickoff event!
All levels of Girl Scouts are invited to apply for a chance to host a table at the GSOC Cookie Kick-off event at the Phoenix Club of Anaheim, January 20, 2018! This is a chance to showcase their activity, talent, and cookie business knowledge!
So that we might best promote your Girl Scout activity, please submit this form by December 15, 2017.

Every activity MUST be hands-on or demonstration at all times. That's what makes the Cookie Kick-off event so exciting!

Cookie Taste: Show the different cookie varieties, work as a team to decide when & where to sell, how to use the money earned. This station also involves sorting and bagging the cookies for allergy safety
Cookie Story: Help girls explain how the money earned in the Girl Scout Cookie Program helps them, their troop and our Council. Create a game for the girls to play or your own idea!
Cookie Share: Coordinate the US Military/Second Harvest Food Bank station where Girl Scouts can write thank you notes to our US military men and women.
Cookie Safety: Safety during the Cookie Program is very important. Make sure girls learn safe practices and rules for all aspects of the program: booths, door-to-door, etc.
Cookie Recognition: Help girls set sales goals by explaining the Cookie program girl rewards & recognitions. Recognition display board will be provided.
Cookie Money: Help girls learn how to make change!
Cookie Booth: Bring an interactive display that teaches Girl Scouts various options for setting-up a booth sale display & how to market to customers (entire shopping center not just their store)
Cookie Craft: Design a luggage tag craft for each participant’s Girl Scout Eco-tote bag. Bring supplies and supervise the craft tables.
Cookie Craft;Theme: Design a Cookie craft in the 2018 theme. Excellent for enthusiastic, artsy troop with diligence to get this job done!
Cookie Customers: Top sellers often mention asking everyone to buy as one of their tried-and-true methods. Help girls learn how to address and sell to the different kinds of customers they will meet.
Cookie Ethics: Show girls how the Girl Scout Promise & Law apply to the Girl Scout Cookie Program while teaching them ethical selling practices and business behavior.
Cookie Goal-Getter wall: Help girls set sales goals by explaining the Cookie program girl rewards & recognitions. Recognition display board, markers & goal stickers for girls to fill out will be provided.
Cookie Talk: We want your performers! Dress up as your favorite customer and help girls with their “elevator speech” for customers. Bring props! Last year’s scripts available. This station requires LOTS of creative, dramatic, Girl Scouts with Girl Sc

At least 3 girls and 2 responsible adults will be at my booth at all times. (We will plan to rotate shifts to allow all girls to participate in Cookie activities)
Troop adults will manage permission slip and Health history for all girls attending
Troops will complete the event registration will receive confirmation of activity.
Troops agree to clean up (by 4pm) and leave their table area "better than when they found it"
Troop agrees to arrive early (10am) and be set up by 12pm
Troop agrees to submit receipts for reimbursement, within budget and within 30 days after the event
Troop agrees to forfeit all fees and benefits in case of no-show
This event is held in a public arena and will include news coverage, photos, videos posted on television, in newspapers, on websites and other public domains. Troop agrees to be photographed.
If members of your troop have indicated they do not want to be photographed, it is your responsibility as the Troop Leader or parent to be sure these members are not photographed or videotaped.
