"I’ve been working for 5 years with multiple experiences. I am a graduate and licensed Nurse here in the Philippines, given 1 year to experience working in a Hospital environment but I would say that being a nurse is no longer my calling. I can still say that even if I am not practicing my profession, I can still use some of my learning to my work.
Back when I was still studying, specifically on my Junior year in college I worked for 5 months on one of the BPO in Pasig. I worked as a Customer Service Representative wherein I was assigned to accept calls for customers who is experiencing issues with their cable boxes. I was enjoying my job back then but as a promised to my parents I needed to pursue my course so I did. I finished my school may be not with flying colors but with passing remarks. I took my Nursing Licensure examination unfortunately I failed but I guess I don’t easily quit so I decided to review on my own and try again. Without any pressure, I submitted my application for the said exam but I was working at the same time as Customer Representative with Results Manila Inc., I stayed for 6 months. I love my family so much which led me to give up again my career because they wanted me to pursue my Nursing career after I successfully passed my second Licensure exam. After working a year as a Nurse, I felt that it was really not me anymore so I decided to leave and follow where my hearts go. I went back to a BPO again this time with Convergys Philippines as a Customer Service Representative doing the same thing repairing cable boxes and Internet service but this time with additional task where I need to sell additional services.
For 2 years I enjoyed my work and I even got the chance to work with other tasks. But I guess there comes an ending, I needed to leave the job due to health concern. I decided to find a regular job that will allow me to wake up morning and able to complete sleep for 7 to 8 hours. I worked as Administrative Assistant on one of the premium condominiums in Makati. I worked with my boss and unit owners, doing reports, presentation, managing files, issuance of access, Identification cards and car stickers, completing Minutes of the meeting, answering phone calls and emails and ensuring all records are updated. I worked for 1 ½ years with them but decided to part ways when I realize that I needed additional income since I am not getting any younger.
Currently, I am working with Teledirect Philippines, I started September 2017 as Customer Service Associate and last year, November 2018 I was laterally transfer as a Global Compliance Pathfinder since today. I am working with 32 sites all over the world, validating access of each employee whether valid or not. I also check for any fraud cases that any employee may commit. I work full time but needed a part time job to earn additionally since I am starting to build my own family. I can work 3 hours every day and full-time during Sunday and Monday. I love to give my service with the company and I know that my experience may not be as exceeding as others but I am sure that my personality will allow to help the company to grow. I can learn easily and flexible with matters. I do not stop myself from learning because I believe that learning is never ending."
