This is the application for the Independence Charter School-Center City (16th & Lombard) 2018-19 Student Lottery for 1st-8th grades only.

You may only submit one application per child. All duplicate applications are invalid. (Please DO NOT click the "Submit" button twice.)

You must submit a separate application for each child.

All 1st-8th grade applications will be placed automatically in a lottery drawing to create a general waiting list for the SPANISH ENHANCED program, where students are taught in English and receive one period of Spanish language instruction each day.

In the SPANISH IMMERSION program in 1st-8th grades, students are taught entirely in the Spanish language in major subject areas, which can include reading, math, science, and social studies, depending on the grade level. (This means that teachers in these classes only speak to the students in Spanish.)
