"I have solid experience as a Medical Technologist being the Science behind the medicines, I have been assisting patients and doctors by giving quality and reliable test results. These are vital for the diagnosis of the patient's condition and therefore proper treatment can be administered. I worked mostly in private medical facilities and I had the privilege to work in specialized laboratories. Being trained in Hongkong to different Fertility Clinics and the World Health Organization as Andrologist, I am blessed to have helped patients, where only a few of us can have the honor, in their fertility workups and eventually have successful outcomes.
With the commencement of Call Centers here in our locality, I also jumped into that bandwagon especially since the schedule is at par with working in the hospital yet salary-wise it pays more. Plus, it is a new experience for me to tread. The challenge engaged me in new learnings and skills. I was able to adapt to the new environment. I have handled AOL or America Online, and American Express account as a Customer Service Associate.
Knowing the possibility of working online, Digital technology has sparked my attention to upskill and learn the ropes. I am a certified Virtual Assistant through the Filipino Virtual Assistance Academy. However, my first remote job experience was being an ESL tutor or English as a Secondary Language teacher for Chinese kids. On top of that, I have also managed and co-owned a small business event and production company, so I know how it feels to be on
the other side."
