"My journey as an online freelancer started in March 2013 as a Medical Claims Analyst for a third-party medical billing company based in NJ. My responsibilities included posting charges and claims to medical insurance, posting payments from the insurance, calling the insurance for denied/unpaid claims, validating insurance information, and taking in calls from patients and insurance for any billing inquiry. I was also responsible for preparing the weekly and monthly reports for the client. In March 2019, the account I was handling retired and sold his 2 practices.

In June 2019, I have worked as a Dispatcher for a lawn service company based in San Deigo, California. I was responsible for filling the unclaimed jobs and service plans and ran a query for the unfilled jobs and plans and dispatch them all to pros (lawnmowers). And when I was in training, I was chosen to be part of the newly-created 5-man team to do special tasks in Dispatch Department. It was a seasonal job and in October 2019, my contract has ended. While working full-time as a dispatcher, I also worked as a part-time Executive Assistant to the CEO of a manufacturing company based in NY. I did the research for the CEO's new project and sent proposals to fund the said project. I also drafted contracts, offer letters, Employee NDIIA , Stock grant, and other documents. In July, they had to transfer office and they did not need my service so my contract has ended. It was the first time the CEO hired a virtual assistant and he said he liked my performance. In fact, he gave me a recommendation letter that I can use for my future application.

In October 2019 I started working as a Maintenance Coordinator for a property management based in Washington DC. The client only needed one virtual assistant and there were two of us applicants scheduled for the final interview. The other applicant has experience working in property management and I don't. He chose the one with experience for the position but he would not want to let me go so he decided to hire me too to be Maintenance Coordinator. I dispatch vendors, contractors, technicians to properties for maintenance service. I accept calls from property owners, tenants, vendors, contractors, and technicians. I make outbound calls to property owners, tenants, vendors, contractors, and technicians. And I create service orders and job orders for maintenance requests. And I have been working with them for seventeen months now. Prior to online freelancing, I have been in the BPO industry since 2006 and also once a teacher."
