"I had 8 years of BPO experience. I handled several campaigns that taught me a lot in customer relations and customer service. These skills include customer retention, accounts and billing, technical support, and inbound and outbound sales.
Recently, I worked with Releasepoint which is a Medical Records Retrieval Company. We call the facility to get a copy of the patient's medical records for their insurance application. First, we call the facility to make sure to send the correct authorization they need before we send the request. We send it through fax, email, or mail. We also make a follow up if they receive the request and if there's a payment required. Lastly, we call the facility and have them send the medical records to us.
When I am still taking in calls with them, it's important to have a sense of urgency in obtaining the medical records to help the patient in the earliest possible time. I made sure to call the facility with respect and friendly tone to keep a good relationship with them. By doing this, I was able to pass the four metrics needed which are Entry Per Hour (EPH), QA, Percent Quality Call (PQC), and Attendance.
