"I started looking for a job while I was still at school way back in the year 2007. I applied to a bunch of companies that were looking for Call Center Agents. I got a job working for AT&T as a Technical Support Representative, I had so much fun training as the youngest in a class full of old-timers and tenured folks in the industry. I vowed to myself that I'd become a trainer someday.
As the years went by, I worked with different accounts like eBay, SiriusXM, Target, JP Morgan & Chase, and even Citibank. At the same time, I was able to create a Training Consultancy firm with some friends, we decided to call it Cebu Teambuilding Facilitators Network. Here's my profile with that organization: http://www.teambuildingph.net/2017/01/cebu-team-building-facilitator-lorenzo.html , I practiced my learnings in school regarding Training and Development and we made a name for ourselves. If you Google "Team building in Cebu" then we would get the number one spot on the results page. Which I think is a very amazing achievement in itself.

While I had a training firm with my friends, I also worked for the BPO industry so that I could have solid health insurance for me and my daughters and government contributions. We sort of slowed down during the pandemic but it didn't mean I had to stop being a trainer as well. In my job from January 3, 2020, working for Shopify, I had the opportunity to work for an eCommerce platform. After 6 months of being hired, I was promoted to a trainer and I was so happy even though the classes were all virtual. I was still able to practice my craft of providing training to folks and in this case, the new hires.

Working for Shopify was fun, it made me appreciate all the hard work that a seller experiences. From starting a store from scratch up to collecting payments, updating the orders, putting new items in the store and maintaining the website of the merchant. Right now, I may not be updated with the recent things from Shopify but with a refresher and the proper resources, I believe I can handle store maintenance for an eCommerce platform.

I guess this is the fifth paragraph and you're probably bored reading what I wrote here. (Lol!)
I'd love to write about the things I do in my free time or the best book in the world (Lord of The Rings + The Hobbit), but you may get irked reading lots of paragraphs explaining how awesome Dwarves are versus Elves. Thank you so much for reading this far, I really appreciate it."
