"I recently worked at Amazon for both UK and NA accounts. As a customer
service associate at Amazon Logistics, my vital role is to make sure that the packages
arrive on time, undamaged and with full customer satisfaction. My duties are tracking
our customers’ packages, answering inquiries and resolving issues with deliveries. I am also in charge of rescheduling and redirecting a shipment as per request.
Furthermore, I coordinate with the customers if there are current changes with the transport. This role enhanced my time management, customer interaction and decision-making skills. At the same time, I assist Amazon drivers. I verify their routes and help them if there are issues in locating or accessing the shipping address. We ensure that the drivers are safe and well equipped to work on road. The most significant role in handling driver concerns is to guarantee their satisfaction in working for Amazon and treating them as part of a team or a family.
Working with different types of people made me feel that even if we grew up in
diverse environments, we can still work as one unit. I enjoyed working for this company since they taught me not just how the business works but also when it comes to establishing my life and career goals. They gave me the opportunity to grow as a person and expand my limitations."
