"I have been engaged as a Paralegal and Legal Assistant by several law firms in California, New York, New Jersey and Michigan. I have experience working on immigration, personal injury, criminal, civil, bankruptcy and elder abuse care cases. I performed tasks from evidentiary review, case management, pleadings writing, legal research and even interviewing clients as well other assistant work.
I have been tasked to perform paralegal work in the areas of bankruptcy, conveyancing, criminal law, contract law and divorce proceedings and even in several slip and fall cases. These tasks were either piecemeal in nature (per pleading or per research basis) or engaged for the duration of the case (from acceptance up to trial hearing for legal research purposes.)
As for the private firms I worked for online, I did legal risk analysis, contract drafting and negotiation and conflict resolution. I have also done employee relations work, Amazon legal resolution and research articles for a number of individuals.
I have been working as a paralegal/researcher since 2001, when I worked in the Senate and House of Representatives. Then I became the Chief Legal Officer for many private corporations. When the market crashed in 2008, I jumped into the internet economy."
