"My most recent role as a Customer Service Representative was with a company that handles hotel reservations. They have their own travel app and the app has it's own live chat support. We are the ones handling the live chat so it's a real time encounter with the guests. We not only handle the live chat but also handle email support and phone support as well, so this is hardcore multitasking.
We handle a maximum of 5 chats at a time not to mention that we also have emails to answer and calls to handle as well. I organize everything by choosing the most important issue and so on. When there are situations wherein two guests need immediate assistance, I try to assist them simultaneously so I am used to handling difficult situations. My ability to solve problems quickly helps me to provide solutions to my guests. I look at these problems in different perspectives to make sure that I can give a tailor fit solutions to a particular guest.
I can say that I am very good at what I do because I always get a high score from the surveys my guests give me. They are very satisfied with the help I provided and they become one of our loyal guests. I always hit my KPIs so I always get incentives quarterly as well."
