"When I was in 3rd year college, taking BS Accountancy, I started working as a customer service representative at the age of 19. I was assigned to a finance company that provides earned wage access services. I rectify customers’ complaints and issues with their bank accounts via email, live chat, social media, and phone. Moreover, I answer customers’ inquiries about the finance service company and win them over to avail our services. I also converse with the customers about their expenses, income, financial objectives, risk tolerance, and other inquiries to develop a financial plan. I served as a customer service representative for 7 months before I was given a higher position of a team leader. With the nature of my college course and the financial account, I developed a strong sense of ethics, habituated constant learning, emphasizing accuracy, sense of accountability, trustworthiness, and reliability. It was an astounding and powerful professional start-up for me.

After 7 months, I was promoted as a team leader in the same company. I closely monitor an internal team of 22 customer service representatives. I make sure that precise procedures are followed, plan strategies to maintain the high performing representatives, and give directions to make the low performing representatives excel. Aside from aiming to get the outstanding accomplishments from my team, I also handle the more advanced customer service department of the account via email, live chat, social media, and phone. It was a challenging yet full of personal and professional lessons for 3 years.

In June this year, I changed my path and decided to take on the world of virtual assistant to gain more knowledge, skills, and experience. I worked in an office-based setting. I was handling 2 Australian clients, one is an Arborist (tree doctor), while the other one is a retail company. They’re completely different! As an Arborist’s virtual assistant, I provide various administrative services and help in creating an Arborist report. On the other hand, I worked as a customer service representative and a Shopify support in a boot retail company. "
