"My career highlight defines that of an administration officer/ customer service provider, which enabled me to partake duties and responsibilities to Construction/ Consulting firms, a personal assistant to a Qatari ‘ Sheikh’, and recently been a Human Resource- Medical Administration officer. Further to this, I did have half a year experience to BPO industry under the Comcast account (chat/voice support).
My last appointed post defines responsibilities which relates to the stabilization of the employment of our physicians, and allied health. I mainly provided support to the department manager starting from the hiring stage (pre-selection of candidate/s), all the way to the document processing, licensing, and finally their routine needs upon successful employment in the hospital. In parallel to this last job post, I can assure that this honed me further in my interpersonal skill to a wide scope of cultures I deal on a day to day basis (applicants from all over the world). Once, our department manager trained us that in this field of work; “The physicians are held to be synonymous to customers’ in a customer service type.
We highly need them in comparison to other type of companies, to which we do need their skills and surgical expertise in our hospital. Hence, we must do whatever we can to have them onboard! Furthermore, it gave me the training to strengthen my keen-to-detail skills, as dealing with doctors can be very sensitive at times. Organizational skills were also implemented whilst considering multi tasking in an efficient manner, and harnessing more my software skills in documentation and logging purposes for future basis of the department. In contrast to my recent profession, one post that I can relate to the current vacancy I am applying was my BPO experience. I was under the Comcast division delivering services via chat and call.
My certain tasks involved troubleshooting assistance, even assisting out of scope gadgets such as customers’ PC’s and electronic devices, billing, sales, etc. On this particular job, I was able to gain professional values such as patience and understanding, always keeping in mind two things; irate customers are not mad at you but that of the service thus do not take things too personal, and the power of patience and compassion in putting your shoes to that of the caller. This role had me better understand the Western culture, specifically the American mind set, allowing to utilize this in my interactions to future customers. I am way too eager to share my professional notion and skills, granted to be considered in your esteem.
Keeping in mind that the only thing that is constant is change, whilst my 5-7 years of professional experience will not hinder me in learning further to newer advancement in the field. "
