Thank you for contacting Toronto Cat Rescue. We are a volunteer-driven registered charity that does not operate a shelter. We do not receive any government funding and rely on donations from the public to provide our services.

Please note the following:
-We are unable to provide financial assistance for owned cats.
-We do not have the resources to provide pick up or trapping services for stray, feral, injured or ill cats. You can contact 311 for assistance if the cat is located in the Toronto area.

-We are a foster based rescue and primarily rescue shelter cats that are at risk of euthanasia.
In dire circumstances, and depending on foster space, we will sometimes assist with friendly strays and owner surrenders due to extenuating circumstances.

For owner surrenders that are not time sensitive, we ask that you complete a Courtesy Adoption Posting application (http://bit.ly/1J5CEMF) if you wish to profile a cat on our website. For all other stray and owner surrender inquiries, please allow up to 3-5 days for a response.
