I have read and agree to the Terms of Service *
 Yes, I agree.
Projects may seek fiscal sponsorship for various reasons: an anticipated short lifespan, improved access to funding, increased credibility, and low-cost financial and administrative services. Fiscal sponsors can also assist nascent projects in developing the necessary organizational capabilities to eventually spin off as independent non-profits. The pre-approved grant relationship is used by a non-501(c)(3) project, in order to raise tax deductible support from donors, private foundation or government grants. In a Pre-approved grant relationship Sponsorship Relationship, the fiscally sponsored project does not become a program belonging to the sponsor (as is the case with Comprehensive Sponsorship), but is a separate entity responsible for managing its own tax reporting and liability issues.

In addition, the sponsor does not necessarily maintain ownership of any part of the results of the project’s work, ownership rights are a 100% to the social entrepreneur or project leader. The sponsor simply assures itself that the project will use the grant funds received to accomplish the ends described in the project and plan forms. The project applies to sponsor for one or a series of grants, sponsor funds the project only to the extent that money is received from donors. The charitable donation belongs to the fiscal sponsor. All liabilities are responsible to 3rd parties (project) or the payment of grantee, plus terms set by funding source.

The OC Theory is a very powerful tool to keep people committed and persevere toward their ultimate goal or OC. It is absolutely essential that people choose their commitments very carefully. This concept will keep people motivated despite the opposition or odds. This could lead to great things, both positive and negative. It also can be used for good and bad depending on the person’s moral and ethical position. We are not meant to be a license to do anything that people want to do. It also does not justify people’s actions to accomplish their goal by any means necessary when it contradicts things that are morally and ethically correct.

In our campaigns, products, and programs there are statements made that, “anything is possible” “the only limitation is in your own mind” and other claims. It is a fact that in the physical world, called reality, there are limitations, boundaries, and things that are unachievable (nor should be achieved). These statements have been made to change the thought pattern of the individual to be optimistic of the outcome of their OC, to take action, and to remain persistent in their chosen course of action. It is not to make unbelievable claims as facts.

We reserve the right to deny service to anyone without notice and without reason. By marking this Term of Service you agree not to hold OCTHEORY.ORG, INC liable nor our sponsors of things that may not go as planned. You also agree not to hold OCTHEORY.ORG, INC liable for any wrong doings on your part or anyone associated with your project. We are here to serve you but we are not slaves. We assist you in achieving your goal but we do not do it for you. All projects are a 100% individually owned and operated by the social entrepreneur at all times while using our services. You must use all money and achieve all things you promised your supporters. Remember no money is ever released until the project reaches its funding goal. You agree to follow our instructions to ensure the success of the project. We reserve the right to revoke your membership at any time.
