Regardless, your Deposit will indicate what pick order you get (once received). You then will be notified what your pick is. Eg: You got 2nd Pick on Female. If you wish to know in advance please contact us. If you need to be 1st or 2nd absolute TOP pick then you need to buy excellent graded. There are usually 2 in each litter. Excellent graded are $500 more and you go to the top of the list. Once there are 2 excellent picks no more picks on that litter can be upgraded to excellent.

Puppy Selection Grade

We have all our puppies graded for perfection. We will not allow a puppy to go out on a breeding contract, or have a customer buy a puppy to Show that is less than perfect and able to produce the highest quality to insure the future of our lines. In these gradings even the lowest grade is very high quality but may fall short of total perfection as far as structure, movement etc.. for show purposes.

All puppies are also temperament tested and rated accordingly. We then match the temperament to the owner finding a perfect match.

Most of our puppies these days are from import litters to ensure the highest quality closest to the source of the best dogs in Europe. *

SELECT FEMALE - Magnificent puppies for Pet/Companion/Import $2500- $3300

SELECT MALE - Magnificent puppies for Pet/Companion/Import $2700- $3300

EXCEPTIONAL - Show quality/Protection/Pet/Import/ Schutzhund Prospects ADD $500 To above selected Male or Female, If available for that litter.

SPECIAL/DUAL IMPORT LITTERS, BREEDING......................... - $3000-$4000 ..............depending on pedigrees and parents. Usually is a pregnant Import female that was bred with top stud in Europe. A True Dual import litter, Import puppies!

I also understand that if I picked a select grading and there are no select puppy, (they could be all reserved and website not updated fast enough). I must upgrade to the Excellent grade if there are no select puppies left. Also If I picked a certain litter that is full or unavailable I will be placed on a litter that is available.

All pups are graded for temperament, Structure, movement, pigmentation, size, height, tail, ears and perfection for breeding, schutzhund, show and Service dog prospects for example.

We try to match the owner with the pup as much as possible to insure a lifelong match.

If the breeder strongly feels the puppy you picked is not right for you. Shiphra Shepherds reserves the right to refuse said puppy for his or her own welfare. We care about the puppies future not the owners desires for colours, size etc... Temperament and pack structure is very important with a German Shepherd puppy. You will be pointed to another puppy or have the choice to another litter. No refunds will be given.

Deposit Amount

All Deposits are $1500. Once received you are officially reserved a puppy on said litter.

A Second or 3rd deposit may be requested at anytime. This ensures puppy actually goes home on that day, and people can afford said puppy and no cancellations happen, or cash flow reasons. Sometimes a litter is lost and a new import must be purchased. This is not always the case but we do not like disappointing customers. The puppy going home at 8 or 9 weeks is our top priority. All Money asked for or given towards payment on an invoice or an account is also considered a second or 3rd deposit. Cancellations will not be refunded what so ever. If you cancel a puppy before the go home date, especially last minute. This is a cancelation and any deposits given are forfeited. We need to know this puppy is going home on the go home date.

New Policy: The customer on the application and deposit contract must be present for puppy pick up for legal purposes and puppy pick! No exceptions unless previously discussed with breeder. On the application or deposit contract the customer understands that if what litter they chose is not available they will be put on a different litter of their choice. We must go by first deposit received to be fair. Regardless if what is on the website is indicated as available or not. Website is not always but usually is up to date.

Go Home Day: The litters are all announced and approx dates are given on website. When puppies are actually Born the go home date may change or may not depending if they took on the 1st, 2nd or 3rd breeding. Once litter is Born all dates will be updated in litter assignments pdf in your invoice welcome email.

It takes a lot of planning of food, go home day items, puppy packs, employees etc. So we have everyone come the same day. Always a Saturday at 11 AM. AND recently if COVID restrictions are in place you may be given certain times to come. Also in the litter assignments link and doc. If you need other arrangements they can be made well in advance. A week crate training is what we suggest $150. Gets puppy use to house and no crying in crate etc... Their habits are solid, then it is easy for you to take over.

Because of several requests recently to change dates we can no longer accept this unless crate training service is bought. Even one day off is still not accepted. We have a serious procedure and we well explain all the importance of a gsd puppy, what to do, vaccines, food etc.. So this take about an hour and a half. We can not do this repeatably for people who can't make it on the day. So please make it a commitment day. We need to tell you this info on the go home day and not be rushed or missed. So if there is any request for a different day incase of a serious emergency etc... a $150 fee will be charged for people who cannot make it that day for whatever reason.

Shipping Puppies:

All shipped puppies are $1500 deposit and are to be fully paid for 2 weeks in advance of flight. IF this is not done a cancellation will happen and you will be liable for the full amount and your invoice will then be sent to collections and the credit bureau. The said puppy will be adopted to a different owner for whatever price to ensure this puppy has an actual home at 8 Weeks. *

Guarantee on each dog is different. Guarantee will be marked on invoice if any. Buyer agrees to spay or neuter said dog no earlier than one year and no later than 2. For retires and adults, within 6 months of purchase date. The dog is not to be used for breeding purposes.
There is no refunds whatsoever. It is owners responsibility to get to know, or do their homework about dog in advance. If a rehoming needs to be done, you must contact the breeder first, and he may assist in rehoming. There is no guarantee on how dog will react once homed with new owner. So many variables can be at hand. Cats, kids, bad owners etc...

By reading and filling this form out, The buyer on this contract automatically understands and agrees to everything on this form when they press submit on the bottom of the page and typing I agree where needed.

The buyer agrees to place a NON REFUNDABLE deposit on a puppy or dog (according to the deposit order). The puppy shall remain with “The Breeder”, until the puppy is at least 8 weeks old and no older than 10 weeks old unless noted in this contract.

I am aware that my deposit amount (Above), is non refundable should I decide I do not want or am unable to take said puppy or for any other reason.

If the puppy should not be available on a requested litter advertised, it could be that several people may have emailed in a deposit already or applied. Website is up to date at most times but this may happen. In which case you will be put on a litter or next litter available. IF a puppy should no longer be available due to illness, accident, or still born, I agree to apply said deposit to another available puppy from this litter or one of the next available litters.

Pick order: Pick order is by first contract/first deposit received and then in descending order. Price may vary with each litter. At time of deposit if your requested litter is no longer available we will have to place you on a different litter of equal quality or import litter. Some days we have 5 deposits come through and can't always place them where they want. This is to be well understood. *

A real European German Shepherd. Some of the best dogs in the world come from Serbia and Germany. In this case an import quality puppy with pedigree is what you are buying.

Return Policy

There is absolutely no refunds unless offered by the seller. If your puppy or adult needs to be rehomed you must return the said dog or puppy to the breeder. It cannot be resold or given to another potential new owner by the buyer. This ensures the safety of the puppy or dogs future. The puppy will be quarantined for 14 days and assessed. If training is needed, it will be done in order to home puppy or dog. *
