"I have been working since I turned 15 years old, I started at a party saloon as a waiter, that allowed me to increase my Customer Service Skills, due to being asked to run errands by customers, and completing them as soon as possible to have the client satisfied, that made me realize I liked helping people get what they need and to do it by providing the best possible service I could.
As a Customer Service Representative, I have learned that you can treat with different people with different needs and many ways to express themselves, sometimes they may not be able to understand what you are saying do to many things, it could environmental such as external noise, the call breaking up or the member themselves that are unable to hear what you are saying, but even though is a challenge to help these kinds of people, that does not mean I should stop trying.
At my current job I have developed skills that have helped with interactions with people, to be empathic, build rapport, identify when to ask a close or open question to identify the information you need to assist the members and to build up a connection with someone, a good interaction with a representative as myself led to a good Customer Satisfaction allowing us to receive more bonuses at the company.
I did learn as well, that in real life interactions all these skills matter, I realized that my job did not helped me to grow as a professional in the company, but it helped me to grow as a person, I am grateful for what my experiences altogether led me to, which is creating bonds, learning how to be a great team leader and how to provide support not only for the customer calling, but also for the people in the team I form a part to as well."
