"A collection s specialist is tasked with the responsibility of assessing client ’s repayments. We systematically review a customer’s statement and payment history and any other information that would pertain to reinstating their credit card .
My experience as a Collection Specialist for almost 4 years now is that I was responsible for resolving and settling overdue bills and collecting payments from credit card holders . I reach out to these clients to set up applicable terms of repayments that they can sustain for a certain period of time t o bring the account up to date.
During these trying times, our financial status is a sensitive topic which we do not discuss with most of the people around us. As a Collection specialist , understanding customers and why they may be in default on lines of credit is also
important.
Knowing their circumstances and to prevent their account from falling further behind is something that I always keep in mind. Connecting with clients and to come up with a payment arrangement is what I have mastered over the years of my experience.
The self - accomplishment that I get from arranging these clients’ account are the following: The joy that brings me after seeing that their account is current, I w as able to ex tend help in the best possible way that I can, and lastly , the sincerest appreciation that you get from them even if you have provided the slightest option there is .
