OVTA Future Educator, OVTA Bachelor's Degree, OVTA Associate's Degree and OVTA Tech/Trade Scholarships
  • * Application deadline: May 1

    * Each scholarship will be awarded in the amount of $1,000 to the most qualified applicant in each scholarship category.

    * Applicants may only apply for ONE of the four OVTA scholarship categories being offered in a specific year.

    * Scholarship recipients will be announced at Senior Recognition Night.
  • QUALIFICATIONS:

    * Applicant must be a senior who will be graduating from the Oswayo Valley High School during the applicable school year.

    OVTA FUTURE EDUCATOR:
    * Applicant must be pursuing a career in education.
    * Applicant must be accepted into a university or degree program for education.

    OVTA BACHELOR'S:
    * Applicant must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree.
    * Applicant must be accepted into a university or four-year degree program.

    OVTA ASSOCIATE'S:
    * Applicant must be pursuing an Associate's Degree.
    * Applicant must be accepted into a university or two-year degree program.

    OVTA TECH/TRADE:
    * Applicant must be pursuing a degree, apprenticeship, or training.
    * Applicant must be accepted into a univeristy or qualified program.
  • REQUIREMENTS:

    * Applicant must submit a completed application.
    * Applicant must attach two (2) letters of recommendation to the application. Letters must be typed and must be from a non-relative.
    * Applicant must attach an official letter from a university or degree program confirming his/her acceptance into a qualified program.

  • Educator, Bachelor and Associate Disbursement:

    Payment will be disbursed upon successful completion of the first semester with proof of enrollment for a second semester. Payment will be made directly to the University of Enrollment.
  • Tech/Trade Disbursement:

    Payment will be disbursed upon successful completion of the qualified program directly to the student OR upon successful completion of the first semester with proof of continued enrollment, payment being made directly to the University of Enrollment.
