2015 “I Am Specialized” Women’s Ambassador Program
We’re looking for very few unique active women from Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Estonia who love cycling (road, mountain, fitness, you name it), and who are also passionate about yoga, hiking, skiing/snowboarding, climbing, or whatever keeps you active outdoors. If this is who you are… we want to hear your story! The goal of the “I Am Specialized” Women’s Ambassador Program is to get more women on bikes. The job as a Specialized Ambassador is to gather and welcome new women into an inspiring and empowering community of riders and grow female ridership.
We are not seeking for Pro or semi pro riders; this is not a sponsor program. This is a “grass root” program for women who are willing to put time and effort into creating a bike community in their area that welcomes both completely new riders as well as women who’s seeking for other women to ride and have fun with on the road and trail.
What do you get for being an "I Am Specialized" Women's Ambassador?
• A sweet new bike for own use throughout the year!
• Equipment Collection (helmet, gloves, shoes, summer apparel)
• A profile page on our Specialized.com website
What we need from you:
1. Fill out the application and complete the questionnaire.
2. With your application, also attach 2 pictures: one of you riding a bike and one headshot
AMBASSADOR RESPONSIBILITIES – If you are selected as an Ambassador, here is what we expect from you:
Women's Group Rides
Organize and conduct a minimum of 1 Women's Only Group Ride every month throughout 2015
Women's Events
Organize and conduct at least 3 women’s events throughout the year – women’s nights, women’s educational clinic or social outing. Feel free to get creative with this! It can be anything to help build your women’s community and get more women on bikes.
Social Media Participation
Create a Facebook page community where the women in your community can meet and you can spread all relevant news on your rides, events and everything else you think is relevant.
Blog Site
Write a weekly blog post, along with posting photos and videos. Your blog site will be linked to your profile on Specialized.com. * If you don't have one, you can start one!
Product Feedback and Development
Bike and equipment feedback to Specialized for product innovations
Product Knowledge
Be informative about the Specialized bike, gear, and most importantly, what it means to be "I Am Specialized"!
