SEIU Local 1991 will once again be traveling to Tallahassee where we will lobby for healthcare funding, advocate for legislation that will help our patients and fight off damaging bills.

Our union will pay travel expenses for our members to attend the two-day lobbying blitz on April 17 and 18, 2013, where we will attend legislative sessions, participate in Town Hall meetings and hold a press conference in the Capitol Building. Members who would like to attend must be COPE contributors. (Ask your union rep or steward how to sign up!)

Last year, more than 100 nurses, doctors and other healthcare professionals participated in Nurse Lobby Day and together formed a powerful voice in the legislative process. Register by April 2 to participate!
