"I would like to apply for the position of Interior Design Virtual Assistant. I think my background would help a lot with what you’re looking for. I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from De La Salle – College of Saint Benilde School of Design and Arts (SDA) in Manila. My recent job was in a construction firm but I also work as a freelance designer. I’m scheduled to take my licensure exam this June but due to the pandemic, it was rescheduled to a later date.
Being in SDA for six years, I’ve come to appreciate the built environment, even in the smallest detail. That’s why I familiarized myself with everything I could get my hands in to especially furniture, materials, and styles. My mentors also taught me how to design interior spaces efficiently.
I was a Junior Site Architect but I also do freelance work and most of them are designing and/or renovating spaces that fit with the client’s demands. In designing, I always strive to achieve a space that is either a reflection of the inhabitant or a stimulus for the viewer but all throughout, incorporating comfort."
