To ensure the continued welfare of all animals adopted from Waters Edge Great Dane Rescue we require that in the event an individual or individuals are unable to continue to care for the animal, it be surrendered back to the rescue.

While WEGDR makes every effort to provide all medical information, I understand that no guarantee can be or is made as to the health of any dog offered for adoption, and further understand and agree that WEGDR is not responsible for any medical expenses that may subsequently arise for any necessary veterinary treatment and/or medications after the date of adoption.
I also acknowledge that while WEGDR has observed the adoptable dogs and advises potential adopters about any known behaviors, other behaviors or personality attributes can appear later due to changes in environment or training methods, and that WEGDR makes no guarantee as to the temperament of any dog offered for adoption. I understand and agree to hold Waters Edge Great Dane Rescue harmless for any loss or damage, to person or property, monetary or otherwise, resulting from any of the dog’s behaviors, habits, or actions.
I acknowledge, understand and agree to WEGDR’s microchip policy: WEGDR will not transfer the microchip but may add me the adopter/new owner of the dog as a secondary and/or emergency contact after twelve (12) months of continuous ownership on a case by case basis.
I agree to pay the non-refundable fee associated with an approved adoption, and understand that the adoption fee is a donation to WEGDR to help pay for the vetting and care of the dogs that they rescue and take into their care.
