"I'm a Call Center Professional for 5 years and this is the start of my work from home journey with you guys.
From 2014 to 2017, I was a Technical Support in writing with an on-demand repair company in the US. My day to day work revolves around providing Customer Service to Customers and Technicians. I provide Technical support for screens purchased from the said company and technical know-how on repairs performed by technicians. While doing such work, we are also tasked to process warranty claims for repairs and products with a turn around time of 3 days. In the last few months of my employment, I was tasked to take Escalated Calls, Live-chat, Email.
After my first company, I was hired as a Customer Service Representative with a payment processor company in the US. My day to day task is to receive about a hundred calls from Debit and Credit Cardholders. I role involves answering queries, updating account information, account security, replacing cards, and more. After 6 months, I was upskilled for Fraud Prevention. The skill allows me to process outbound calls automatically made by the system to work with Cardholders in detecting fraud on their account. We review transactions and cancel their card should fraud be found.
This year, I was employed by a friend as a Business Manager for a startup. My role is to foresee the construction of the office, make sure our documents are compliant, and procure equipment for the office. At night, I help with looking for leads to sign up with the Company. The employment only lasted for 6 months as the company discontinued operation."
