Frenchman's Bar Summer Beach Cleanups
Date: Every 4th Saturday in June, July, August and September
Time: 9 am to 12 pm
Address: 8800 NW Lower River Road, Vancouver 98660
Thank you for your interest in volunteering! This summer we will be hosting beach cleanups at Frenchman's Bar Park every 4th Saturday of the month. We will partner with the Vancouver Watersheds Alliance and Columbia Riverkeeper for the August event and with the Vancouver Watersheds Alliance and SOLVE for the September event.
We will provide gloves, tools, water and snacks. Please bring a reusable water bottle if you have one.
Parking fees are charged at this park, but volunteers can pick up free passes at the fee collector booth on the day of the event.
Volunteers will be emailed information prior to each event indicating meeting location and other details. Volunteers should wear long pants, closed toe shoes and dress for the weather for each event. These events are open to all ages and are a great way to help keep litter out of our waterways.
If you (or anyone in your group) are under the age of 18, a parental consent form must be signed. Please copy and paste this URL into your browser to access the form: https://www.clark.wa.gov/sites/all/files/public-works/Parks/Volunteer/CCPMinorConsent.pdf. Please print, fill it out, and bring it with you to the event.
If you have any questions please contact the Volunteer Program Coordinator, Karen Llewellyn, at 360.397.6118 ext. 1627 or via e-mail at email@example.com.
