Customer Service has always been the focus of my work experiences. I have been with multiple lines of businesses, but despite the differences, all of these boil down to providing quality Customer Service.

I, first started as an agent for a computer company. I provided Customer Service in a variety of ways such as checking order status, troubleshooting or merely answering the very basic of questions. I moved on to credit card sales and B2B, providing service and assisting in solving clients’ needs.

Having been promoted as a Communication Skills and Product-Specifics trainer, I was able to dive into more intensive dealings in Customer Service, as well as sharing this knowledge to my trainees. As a trainer I was able to master the art of probing, listening and really understanding clients’ concerns to a deeper level. I would take in calls every day, get to know people and know how they think. I would take escalation calls for my trainees and evaluate with them, why this had to happen in the first place. Bottom line, these experiences made Customer Service even more enjoyable for me, despite many irate clients.

As I moved to the work from home setting, I continued dealing with Customer Service. In a real estate company, I realized that consumers are not the only customers, as I was handling and training newly hired real estate agents. In a digital marketing for real estate company, I got to experience working with CEOs, needing to be trained and assisted.

To sum this all up, I believe that customer service can be provided in a variety of ways and to different types of people. The biggest commonality would be assisting and making sure that the clients’ concerns are addressed with the right solutions and in a timely manner.
