"My Name is Tom, 26 years old from Cavite, Philippines. I am a licensed professional teacher and a freelancer.
As a teacher, I taught English-related subjects including grammar, language, and literature to college students in a state university. I also once worked as an online ESL tutor for Korean students. Teaching definitely carried with it a lot of challenges especially in mingling and socializing with the students, but this also taught me to become a people person and a compassionate worker, which I know will be invaluable wherever I go.
In regards to my homebased experience, I have had several accounts handled over time. I encountered and have a full grasp in lead generation, appointment setting, data collection, content writing, and administrative tasks. I started off with a sales account. It was a good thing because I feel like it boosted my drive as a representative and with that experience, I am confident to say that I am ready for whatever a job has to offer.
I would say that my strength is my good command of the English language. With this, I am able to understand fully and able to get the job done easily. Another strength I have is my ability to organize things well so as not to encounter any work flow issues during the course of executing the task. I am also very detail-oriented and makes sure that I pay attention to urgency but still not jeopardizing the quality of my work.
As a freelancer, I clearly understand how experience is of great importance as a key to achieving success in this industry. This is the main reason why my greatest goal is to use my varied experience in to a greater height by further enhancing it through the help of quality companies. I also have a firm belief that my academic background and developments skills combined with my work ethics and devotion towards this kind of job would be successfully utilized in the growth of the company."
