"I started my career as an HR Assistant with an IT/AV company, doing the end-to-end recruitment process. After a year, I got promoted as an HR Specialist and my responsibilities expanded to handling recruitment, employee engagement, benefits and time management. After being with them for 4 years, I decided to look for a new opportunity where I can have personal and professional growth. I really wanted to maximize my skills and knowledge on all HR facets, so I applied as an HR Generalist to a multinational project management company.
As an HR Generalist, I was assigned to do the recruitment and employee engagement as well, but I also had the opportunity to be part of organizational development, statutory benefits and employee and labor relations management. Since my work schedule there is flexible, I decided to look for another job with a different working schedule.
I was hired as a virtual Legal Admin/Executive Assistant to the CEO with a family law firm based in California, USA. My tasks there are answering calls, interviewing potential new clients, timekeeping for all the Attorneys, online filing and scheduling to the courts, monitoring of clients' billings, email and calendar management and other admin related tasks. I worked there for 3 months and unfortunately, the PH team was laid-off due to the current pandemic.
After 2 weeks of sending job applications, I got hired as an Admin/Legal Manager/Marketing with a Real Estate company based in Texas, USA. I started there doing inbound and outbound calls, sending out messages, and setting of appointments. After 3 weeks, the Acquisition Manager started to delegate some of her admin and marketing tasks such as creating different spreadsheets, looking for potential new leads (sellers and buyers,) creating and posting of Ads, creating and managing their social media accounts and research.
Working as a Human Resource professional for 5 years and as a VA for almost a year, I learned to use different softwares such as Jobstreet, LinkedIn, Indeed, OnlineJobs.PH, Dropbox, Google Forms, Vonage, Voxer, Slack, Mailchimp, Craigslist, MyHouseDeals, MLS, Lead Propeller, Zillow, Cosmolex, Legale Sign and Rapid Legal.
Now, I am still aiming to expand my career by acquiring new technologies and bigger responsibilities."
