"I’ve been in the BPO industry for 4 years. My first job was outbound sales agent so, we call potential customers that are interested in the services we offer. We
prequalify customers who have unsecured debt for a debt consolidation program.
My most recent job was cu stomer service representative in an E - commerce site,
retail account based in the United States. We have two lines of business. We cater
to billing or credit card concerns, and shopping or online purchases.
In billing, we answer all their questions about th e charges on the account. We also process payments, update personal information, disputes and whatnot.
In the shopping part, we check the status of an order. We check if what happened
with their order, why there's no movement in the tracking and, the reason for the delay. Oftentimes, packages got damaged and lost in transit, so what we do is file for claims. We send emails for updates and also process a replacement or refund
for packages that are tagged as delivered but not received and most especially
dama ged orders. Overall, our main goal is to ensure that we provide great service
to our customers."
