Shine the Light: Anonymous Stories
Co-hosted by HAART and STAR, Shine the Light is a free community event taking place on Monday, April 27th from 6:00-8:30pm at the Main Library. The event seeks to promote understanding, healing, compassion, health, and empowerment.

As part of the program, we are looking to share anonymous stories from survivors of sexual violence or relationship violence, and/or those who are living with HIV/AIDS or other STIs.

Your voice matters. Your story matters. You matter.

Use this form to submit your story! By doing so, you give us permission to share your anonymous story with event attendees, publish your story anonymously on a website dedicated to sharing the stories we collect, and/or to use your story as part of our event promotion.

Stories may also highlight issues such as emotional and/or physical abuse, mental health, harassment, alcohol and drug addiction, poverty, gender stereotypes, victim blaming, self-blame, gender violence, healthy masculinity, consent, communication, condom negotiation, stigma and shame, combating myths, silence, etc.

We will not publish any identifying information that you include in your story, about yourself or anyone else.

The deadline for submitting your anonymous story is Wednesday, March 18th, 2015.
