"I can say, with confidence, that I have developed many different skills in my past experiences that hold value and can only become more valuable as I perfect each one. In my previous employment, I learned the importance of an interpreter. My role was to aid in the translation of doctor appointments, IEP meetings, and state benefit interviews. The ability to convey a message from one language to another proved its importance as the health and wellbeing of another individual was at risk if my interpretation was compromised or incorrect.
I am also experienced as a dispatch coordinator. My role in the company was just as important as the last as I would be put in charge of organizing the pickup and delivery of produce products in refrigerated trucks. This was anything but a simple process for it required plenty of concentration, agility, and multi-tasking. My tasks would consist of calling and negotiating the pickup for a load, signing and filing of paperwork, locating truck drivers to deliver the said load, keeping the client updated, and sending the appropriate paperwork to the corresponding parties. This experience accustomed me to work well under pressure and execute many tasks within a set timeframe.
I look for ways to apply the skills that I have developed as an Interpreter and as a dispatch coordinator to prove my aptitude. I attribute the quality of my work to the significance of the job. I understand the importance of customer satisfaction as well as the details that make a company reputable and reliable."
