“I've been working in the BPO industry for 8 years. Mostly, I supported technical support. I was a chat support assisting technicians to open ports and test devices remotely. We filed tickets as well for the ports that were not working.
Then I moved to a different company and we handled smartphone manufacturers for android, we help customers to troubleshoot the problem, and usually we help them process the warranty after troubleshooting. Then I moved to a chat support LOB within the company, where we handled VR gaming consoles. We troubleshoot the device remotely and usually remotes their PC to gain more access and understanding of the problem. And was transferred to ANZ support for the same devices, though I also handle social media support and email at the same time.
The most recent job I had was for a US based telco account. I was also a technical support expert. We handle network issues as well as billing and sales. As technical support we help the customer to troubleshoot smartphones for both android and iOs. We also help troubleshoot mobile hotspot devices and tablets. We were trained to do troubleshooting for smartwatch and a landline that works with simcards.''
