"My name is Dayanara P. Lleses, I am 25 years old. I am a Nursing Graduate, but I opted not to pursue a career in Nursing. I used to work for a BPO company as a Customer Service Representative under a telco account in the United States. What we do is, we answer customer inquiry, we also assist customers with some basic troubleshooting of their devices. We also explain to our customers any concerns that they have with their bill.
Working for a BPO company enhanced my communication skills as I have assisted different types of customers with various concerns. I have learned how to deal with difficult customers as well, and patience is always the key in winning them over. I have learned to always put yourself in your customers' situation for you to be able to build rapport and gain their trust.
Working as a Customer Service Representative requires a lot of patience and understanding. It is also fulfilling in a way that whenever you hear the word “thank you” from your customers, it’s like a reward from them, a simple appreciation from the customer can really make your day.''
