We receive many applications on our pets - please be patient and understand that the pet will be placed in the most appropriate home, not necessarily with the first family who applies. One of our volunteers will contact you after your application is received; if the pet you are applying for is no longer available, we will be happy to keep your application on file and search for the right pet for your family. Keep in mind that adopting a new family member is a lifelong commitment for that particular animal; they most likely have been shuffled around enough already, possibly abused, abandoned, neglected - but always unwanted by their original families; we want your home to be their forever home, so much care is taken in the matching up process - this sometimes can be a long process. We are all volunteers with full time jobs, so we may not respond as quickly as you would like; we apologize in advance for this, and vow to reply as quickly as possible to inquiries and applications. Further, I understand that no warranty, guarantee, or promise is made regarding the breed, age, temperament, health, history, or behavior of any animal adopted by me from GunnDogs, Inc.; that “rescue” animals most often come from unknown backgrounds and circumstances. I agree that, in the event I am unable/unwilling to maintain proper and safe ownership of any animal adopted from GunnDogs, Inc. I will return said animal to GunnDogs, Inc. with no claim to expenses or ownership whatsoever from the time GunnDogs, Inc. takes possession of the pet.
