  Bullying is an act that is Purposeful, an Inappropriate use of power, and Continual. Glen Lea is a safe school and a no bullying school. Please let us know if someone is repeatedly and purposefully: saying hurtful or mean things, deliberately excluding someone from a group or activity, hurting a student physically, or telling lies about a student. Definition of Bullying- “A person is bullied when he or she is exposed, repeatedly and over time, to negative actions on the part of one or more persons, and he or she has difficulty defending himself or herself.” Dan Olweus, Bullying at Schools: What We Know and What We Can Do (Oxford, England: Blackwell Publishing, 1993)
