"I've been in the BPO industry for more than five years, I started to work in a local account to gather experience and apply for an international account. I worked in a BPO company as a Search Engine Optimization Specialist. We attend to customer's queries about the person's background or check their inheritance. I worked as a Customer Service Representative (CSR) for several months and then got promoted to be a Team Leader.
Being a Team Leader is not easy since I have to take responsibility for the performance of the team. I handled a team that will take care of all the chargeback cases that were filed from our customer's banking institution. Most of our queries were about those who have fraudulent activities to their cards and an automatic payment that is not acknowledged. Aside from that, I still have to do call monitoring, update my team's time logs, and update each team member's performance. I also worked as a Technical Support Representative (TSR) in a telco company based in the United States. We attend to customer's technical issues with their phones and their phone services.
We also cater payments for their mobile plans and refunds. I also got promoted to cater to a brand that is under a free government program. Most of my experiences were from the BPO and, being a Virtual Assistant is very new to me. I have had experienced as an appointer setter in a real estate company. We did cold calling to a broker/agent and ask questions about some client's property and make a sure lead for the client to do some negotiations."
