"My last work was for a car-sharing company based in San Francisco. It started small like most start-up companies. The company provides vehicles for rent. These cars are owned by people who have extra cars. It is like Uber or Lyft or even Turo but what sets it apart is the personal experience of being the actual driver of the vehicle and the hardware installed in each vehicle. The hardware serves as the control mechanism of the car in terms of unlocking the vehicle using an app or remote. It also acts as a GPS and it has the ability to read the voltage of the car's battery.
When it comes to signing up it is pretty easy. Just go to the website and sign up using your personal Facebook account which is a requirement. At times we get calls were a customer is upset because he or she doesn't have a Facebook account. At the end of the day, they will still call back for assistance in terms of setting up their first appointment. That is how reliable the company is like me.
My main task before is receiving calls from renters and owners. Issues being presented were involving finding the vehicle, providing discounts, getting an update from another department regarding a damage claim or status of the repairs being made to a car. I also set up where the car should go in terms of repairs, jumpstart, change oil or even a tire change. Another task I have is processing payments or orders using the tools I have. That is pretty much about my last job."
