We encourage all volunteers to read "Retired Racing Greyhounds for Dummies" by Lee Livingood. This will familiarize yourself with the breed and help you answer questions in the event you are approached by a potential adopter. This book is available at most bookstores or can be found at the library. We also encourage anyone who is interested in volunteering to come out to any of our scheduled events so you can get to know the group and how we operate.
