Washington State: June 24-27, 2013

Over sixty percent of South Dakota’s soybean crop is exported overseas. As a South Dakota soybean farmer, you now have the opportunity to see firsthand how the South Dakota soybean checkoff contributes to export opportunities.

The South Dakota Soybean Research and Promotion Council invites soybean farmers to apply for this year’s See For Yourself mission, June 24-27, 2013. Fifteen South Dakota soybean farmers will be selected to participate in the program. If you are selected, all expenses for the trip will be covered.

The See For Yourself mission will give you the opportunity to visit various export facilities and meet with industry leaders at the:

• Port of Grays Harbor
• Tacoma Export Marketing Company (TEMCO)
• Port of Longview
• AGP Facility
• Imperium Renewables Biodiesel Plant
