This form is to be used if you are ENROLING YOUR MARKET for the first time in the GMC. If you need to update the information for your market, use the Change of Information Form. If you need to renew the enrolment for your market, use the Renewal form. All these forms are listed where you found this on the main FORMS page of the blog.

Enrolment Rules

Please read the general group rules before you submit this form. There is a zero tolerance on breaking the rules because of the size of this group and size of the enrolment roster for all services. You will not be issued any warnings if you break the rules and your notice rights will be revoked. Rules are found on the main page.

There are two (2) levels of service markets can enroll in:
Level 1: Large Markeplace

1. Minimum of 25 stalls to be rented by merchants. These do not include advertising boards;


2. Easy teleporting access into the market by way of direct TP or a teleporting station at the main TP location;


3. Open rental access. Meaning the market isn't exclusive to your friends and by invite only (which includes applications) and offering a few stalls open to rent for the general public.

3. Open rental access. Meaning the market isn't exclusive to your friends and by invite only (which includes applications) and offering a few stalls open to rent for the general public.

Notice Rights

The only people who will be given notice posting rights in the GMC group will be the market manager listed on the form. Not all sim owners are the market managers. Not all city administrators are market managers. If you share the duty with someone else, list them in the "Who to contact for group invite if needed?" space.

Form tips:

SLURLs:

SLURLS will be used on the blog to give everyone an easy way to teleport to your market. If they are already in Second Life and they click on the SLURL a teleport window will open on the Grid Map. If they aren't logged into Second Life, they will be prompted to log in when the viewer login screen opens. You can get a SLURL easily by:

1. Going to the market landing location,


2. Opening the grid map (MAP button),


3. Clicking the "Copy SLURL to clipboard" button.

Custom-Size Signs:

If you need a larger sign you can get a custom-sized sign made. You will have to include this information on the bottom of the form, basically saying yes or no you will require a sign custom sized for you. To have a sign resized for your needs, please:

1. create a prim the size you need,


2. name the prim "GMC Sign Template",


3. send the prim to Dartavia.

Attaching your Logo

You can have the option of adding your market's logo to the blog page which will be created for the market's listing. Please ensure that your logo meets the criteria below. Any logos not meeting the critera aren't usable, they won't post to the net. Logos which aren't usable won't be resaved or altered.

1. no larger then 512x512 in size,


2. no spaces in the name of the logo,


3. in JPG format.

Marketplace Categories:

With the amount of marketplaces in and out of Gor the enrollment list has been broke into three (3) categories. Please follow the link to the type of market you are looking for information on.

1. Markets in a Role Play Sim - These markets are located in a Gorean Role Play sim. The ?standard? market place in a sim.


2. Markets with Main Stores - These markets feature a main store or stores possibly for the owner of the market place and smaller rental stalls for others off a dedicated Gorean Role Play sim.


3. Stand-Alone Markets off Role Play Sim - These markets are not on a Gorean Role Play Sim and commonly privately owned and independently managed.
