Commitments

AARCS Commitments *

The AARCS team will organize activities and go over all safety regulations.

AARCS' priority is the well-being of the animals. AARCS reserves the right to end any event where the safety or well-being of the animals may be compromised.

AARCS reserves the right to cancel, postpone and reschedule events. Reasons may include but are not limited to animal illness or emergency situations.

My Commitments *

I will provide signed waivers by all attendees no later than one week prior to the event.

I will ensure my group follows all instructions provided by AARCS staff and volunteers while on AARCS premises.

All participants are at least 12 years of age.

I will arrange payment at least 14 days prior to the scheduled event. If my event is cancelled in advance, AARCS will refund my money as soon as possible. (See cancellation policy below.)

Cancellation Policy *

Cancellations can be made by emailing volunteer@aarcs.ca for Calgary bookings or sarah.schmidt@aarcs.ca for Edmonton bookings.

Cancellations or changes to bookings must be made a minimum of 2 weeks in advance of the originally scheduled date. Failure to request changes at least 2 weeks ahead may not be refunded.

AARCS may cancel at any time in the event of an emergency situation, including large and small scale disasters related to the Alberta Animal Disaster Response (AADR).

If AARCS cancels due to an emergency and no mutually suitable alternative date can be arranged, AARCS will refund the fee.
