2026 Blackfryar Audition Form
The Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire will hold in-person auditions for our 2026 season part-time "blackfryar" cast on March 14 from 10am-5pm. Auditions will be held at the Barn & Barrel at Mount Hope Estate (2775 Lebanon Road, Manheim, PA 17545).
Please expect to be at auditions for approximately one hour. Exact audition slot times will be sent to you in a confirmation email in 1-3 business days.

UPDATE AS OF 2/20/26: Due to weather, the auditions originally scheduled for 2/22 have been postponed to March 14. Digital submissions for Blackfryars are now open at the bottom of this form.

What to prepare for your audition
Please prepare a 1-minute comedic monologue and 16 bars (30 seconds) of acapella song. You are welcome but not required to bring your instrument if you are a musician. Callbacks will be held throughout the day and include group improvisation, so wear comfortable clothing for movement.
