Travel Scholarship for SC Lowcountry Museums
SEMC is pleased to announce the availability of ten scholarships, grant funded by the Gaylord and Dorothy Donnelley Foundation, for South Carolina Lowcountry museum professionals. The scholarship award covers conference registration ($300) and travel expenses ($200).

Those eligible for the SC Lowcountry Scholarship are full-time or part-time staff members who work at small museums in South Carolina Lowcountry.

Eligibility:
a) Must be employed full-time or part-time by a museum/historic site/arts or cultural organization in South Carolina Lowcountry (Colleton, Hampton, Jasper, Beaufort, Charleston, Dorchester, Berkeley, Georgetown, Horry Counties).
b) Open to staff from organizations with budgets of $500,000 or less
c) Institutions must be a 501c3 non-profit organization.
d) SEMC membership is encouraged, but not required.
e) Scholarship recipients must attend SEMC 2019 Annual Meeting October 21 - 23, 2019.
f) First come, first served for ten total scholarships

Criteria:
SEMC will accept the first ten applications for qualified museum professionals from SC Lowcountry small museums.

Deadline and Notification:
Applications will be considered on first submitted and first served basis. Scholarship winners will be notified by email.
